Grand Assembly, a time to get to know your Rainbow sisters better, make new friends, learn more about Rainbow and have fun! Grand Assembly will be held from June 20-23, 2024 at the Macon Marriott City Center.
Each year, girls from all Georgia assemblies, as well as visitors from other states or countries, will gather for our annual themed Grand Assembly. Here girls and adults come together for formal meetings, conduct business and announce funds raised for the Grand Worthy Advisor's Special Project. All members of Rainbow, those affiliated with a Masonic organization, parents and grandparents may attend these sessions. There are also open sessions that anyone may attend.
Competitions are highly anticipated at Grand Assembly and provide a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. These include such activities as Georgia's Got Talent, assembly skits, scrapbook presentations, page baskets, and the always favorite Southern Belle competition, just to name a few. Awards are presented during the Saturday Night Banquet and also include awards for outstanding Rainbow participation and memory work.
The highlight of any Grand Assembly is the announcement of the new Grand Officers who will serve the following year. This announcement takes place on Sunday morning, followed by Grand Installation that afternoon. Grand Assembly is officially adjourned after Grand Installation until the next year. However, there will be many travels throughout the year as our Supreme Inspector and new Grand Worthy Advisor will visit each district for an Official Visit.
